RECENT NEWS

COVID-19: The School Board recently voted to follow a quarantine policy, consistent with CDC guidelines, for students with COVID-19; rather than issue a mask mandate. Parents, students, teachers, and staff may wear masks if they choose; those decisions will be left to each individual/family.

Accreditation: Sauers is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) which serves as the accrediting body for Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod schools across the country. Accreditation decisions are based on a school’s compliance with national standards for Lutheran schools that reflect the essential qualities that are expected of them. Our accreditation is up for renewal in 2022. The School Board has already initiated the process of pursuing accreditation for an additional term.

§§§

New Professional Staff. Kasee Lambring has assumed the administrative leadership role at St. John’s Sauers for the 2021 – 2022 school year. Mrs. Lambring is also continuing to teach math, as well. New teachers include Emily Simkins (5/6), Clara Nebel (K), and Shelby Stuckwisch (7/8). Emily Surenkamp is our new cook.
